Why can the one ring be found by generals of the Ootmm? Isn't it in the shire at the beginning of the game?

It might still be with Gollum seeing it's 50 years before WOTR
No, gollum has it. But they could make frodo have it.
well Frodo doesn't live at the beginning of the mod so it's best to have it in the MM
This is wrong. Bilbo Baggins has it. After 2942 he sits at home and has the ring in the shire. The mod starts sometimes after 2950.No, gollum has it.
If Gollum still had the ring no draws would live at the lonly mountain.
so in order to be lore correct, we'd need Eriador with the ring in the beginning of the mod?
Just call me BENTLE, everyone else does...
I haved event massage that Some General in MM has it.
(at thread)
Does someone know why the team decided to put the ring in Moria? I think everybody having read the hobit should know that the ring should be in the shire at the beginning of the game. Futhermore even when Gollum had it before 2941 he was never in Moria with it. He was sitting in the North, in the MM near Imladris, but not in Moria.
So why have the team decided to put it in Moria?

Its not only found in Moria, its also found in Mountian Fort and Goblin Village as well.
It's generally discovered anywhere in the Misty Mountains, I'd imagine, because that's where Bilbo finds it. Rather than giving any one faction a clear advantage in the start of the game.
Perhaps it would be better for the possibility of the One Ring to be found only far into the game? Perhaps as late as after turn forty or so.
Just a thought.
Bilbo found the one ring in 2941; so if the mod starts before this date the one ring must be put somewhere in the MM, but surely not in Moria; if the mod starts after this date the one ring must be put in the Shire.
I found it playing as high elves when I sacked mountain fort or goblin town![]()
