I would prefer if people started convincing me that the first people on Ireland and Scotland were not black. Although I would have no problem with it, seeing as we are all from Africa originally, it goes against everyithng I have ever known on Irish genetics and history.

Alright, I am still not convinced. I know that nearly all original Irish came from the Basque Region of Northern Spain and this applies to the Scottish as well ( who are pretty much the same as the Irish )

Now I am pretty sure that the spaniards that travelled to Ireland were not black in skin tone.

There is a distict possibility as many Gaelic and Celtic people were said to have come from North Africa slightly later than some other groups.. so they could have been "black" however they must have developed lighter skin like everyone else in Europe or interbred Extensively.
