To make this on topic:
Since Eriador is going to be redone and probably get new units, maybe the general units isn't a cavalry unit, but as long as the general unit of the faction is a cavalry unit I think Aragorn also have to be riding me..err.. I mean Brego

well,mounted general is better than unmounted if we talk about battle performance IMHO
but Aragorn on foot would be cool

But Aragorn, in the role of general, will be on a horse or on foot? I mean...his guard unit will be on a horse or infantry (and him,consequently) ????Thanks

Well..... now I ask myself :


1) But why Aragorn has a guard unit in horse (and him,consequently) ?????

2) It shouldn't be an infantry type of unit?

3) And Aragorn shouldn't have an attack on two hands?

4) Why this unit is become so???

That wa smy mistake i looked up aragorn in the desc, files and he had heavy infantrie for bodyguards but that changed and i didn't know, sorry for causing any trouble...

An mounted aragorn won`t be able to climb or defend walls, nor will he perform well in city battle.

An unmounted aragorn won`t be able to charge epically, and he won`t be as mobile and usefull on the open field.

Aragorn should have his general bodyguard on ground in the Eriador faction, because he was a ranger, not some knight.
Aragorn became a horse rider and a knight after he became king tho, so unless ur playing gondor with aragorn in some mod, Aragorn should be dismounted

Well, he always knew how to ride a horse being a super-warrior and all that. I just don't think he used a horse that much.
