    Default Agoraphobia mod

    ok so the biggest problem i have with TATW is I feel the map is too large and there's way too much walking and exploration needed for most factions so what I wanna do is create a new campaign map that is smaller, I'm not sure by which ratios and I need to learn how to create maps too, if I can't find time this might not even happen, anyone wish to help or can give any advice on how i'd do this?

    If you really want to try it you could do it relatively easily by trying rescaling the map files. Many will have to be repaired afterwards like regions, rivers and such, but mostly it could work. Anyway since the map was developed specifically in this size you may find the scaled down map odd or ugly or whatever and I would definitely not advice doing whole new map by yourself. You'd never finish. Simply scaling current map down will be big and time consuming task already with not that certain outcome anyway...

    or u can just edit the files forgot which ones to make the people on the map in campaign walk much longer distances

    Well, some people like siegefests, I guess.

    @ OP: You could increase the movement points for all characters, that will make the distances feel shorter.

    increasing walking distances is a good idea, I've always liked playing in areas like northern Italy in Medieval where there isn't huge open space since it is really hard to manage everything and setting up 4 or 5 watchtowers per region is a major pain. And I've found the amount of open battles to not really be that much different in more cramped areas, I really like playing Gondor and going after Mordor but I tried Dwarves and it really sucked with the huge amount of space.

    "named character" is general, "general" is for captain. Other speak for themselves
    THe line you need to change is

    starting_action_points 120
