    Default Adding pistols

    Hi guys,
I was wondering how to add pistols/any weapon to a unit, say generals bodyguard but have no idea how its done. Is it done With the PFM or is it not done with the PFM?

    It's done with PFM.
    You need to:
    1. In db/warscape_equipment_themes, add pistol as the secondary weapon for the theme the unit you're editing is using.
    In db/unit_stats_land:
    2. Change the animation (Animation Table column) to personality_officer (works for both cavalry and infantry-uses swords in melee and pistols as the ranged weapon).
    3. In the "unknown" column to the right of Gun IDRef, write pistol.
    4. Choose whatever accuracy and reloading skills you want for the unit.
    5. In the column to the left of Projectile IDRef write flintlock (not sure if this is necessary).
    6. In the Projectile IDRef column write pistol.
    7. Choose whatever amount of ammunition you want in the Ammo column.
    8. In the unknown column to the right of the Ammo column, write dragoon_carbine or mounted_carbine (for cavalry units) or foot_musket (for infantry units).
    9. If the unit you are editing is a cavalry unit, look for the column titled Can Fire from Horseback and change from False to True.

    Did you do this?
If not, that would explain why the animation is there but the pistol isn't.
