If I had to choose from the list, I'd say Bush if only because he was tough on the jihadists. I thought he was incompetent at handling the banks bailouts and that whole mess last year.

The list is total garbage. Rice and Saakashvili are minor figures, maybe Rice will amount to something in a few years, but right now she is completely irrelevant on a long term scale. Bush would only be considered for worst politician.
Basically only Sarkozy and Putin could even remotely be considered for the title, though even the former will probably fade into obscurity.

How about Ban Ki-Moon, Barosso, Merkel, even Blair and so on? Despite your personal preferences about them, they're at least a bit (ahum) more notable than Saakashvili and Rice.
Certainly despite your obvious Anglosaxon bias, you've heard of them? And what about all the Non-Western politicians? Those of minor states but large diplomatic cloud?

Do explain then. Because I have been following he and his party for the past several years and know quite a bit more than diddly squat about him. He's one of the few European politicians with half a spine that's standing up against jihadist/Islamist thugs in the Netherlands. And he's basically a libertarian, which gains him extra points in my book.

If the question is "Best at playing the political game" then I think Geert Wilders is definitely one of the best.

Not sure if he's the best though, because he's also shooting himself in his own foot a lot of the time.
He would have been much more influential if he didn't alienate the rest of the right-wing.
IMO Jan Marijnissen from the far-left "Socialist Party" is a much better politician because he manages to bring in votes without pissing off his potential coalition parties too much.

If the question is "Best policy maker" then he's probably about as bad as it gets.
Even if you hate Muslims, his "policies" are totally unrealistic and would never work in the real world.
