I've got RTW Gold edition installed on my computer. I installed RTR Platinum 1.9 and nothing happened. The game still looks and plays the same as before the mod.

Vagabond, I just installed the game like you did today. I also have a gold version. It took me a bit to figure it out. Here is exactly what I did to get it to work. I un-installed rome total war completely and rome barbarian invasion completely. Then I re-installed both of them. After that I went to the Total War home website, and downloaded the 1.6 patch under the "support" section. Once I did this, I had to download and install the 1.9 platinum modded version. I tried the regular 1.9 platinum version and nothing happened. Once I installed the 1.9 platinum modded version it worked (you must make sure that it goes to the right area when extracting, where you keep your rome total war files at C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War). After this you will see a seperate short-cut icon on the desk-top screen. Music will not work, so I download gold edition 6.2 add-on for the music, and extracted it to the rome total war section again C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War. Now the game works great. Hopefully, this helps you somewhat. It took me a little bit of time to figure it out, I am no computer wiz.
