Default [HoI3] Paradox releases Quickstart Guide/Manual (bigger than actual ETW manual?)

    http://www.hoi3.com/index.php?option...news&Itemid=63

Paradox has posted a mini-manual for Hearts of Iron III online to peruse before the game ships. Its just a summary, but you can get an idea how great this game is going to be. I expect the actual manual to be a pretty thick book (like all manuals should be) like Paradox often ships with its games.

I was "strongly disappointed" by the manual that came with Empire Total War. Paradox shows the way

    Enjoy.

who needs a manual for ETW when the AI is so bad you can learn by raping that AI on any difficulty.

manuals are for women. did moses use a manual when he crossed the desert? no! he caused hundreds of his people to die for 40 years wandering aimlessly! now hes a real man. I respect that.

But no really is the manual any good? I downloaded it but have nothing to run PDF files so oh well. I dont really need it though since i have a very solid understanding of the game already but im still curious.
    You look great today.

I like the moses comparison Alkarin.

The manual is very detailed and very usefull to a beginner and for sorting out a few of the hundreds of questions this game throws at you, try to get a copy of adobe 7 or similar in the series to read PDF files.

I found the PDF manual to be quite helpful. At first you think "89 pages! Gee whiz!" but then you see there are lots of pictures and white space. Its not bad at all, it just tells you the details you need to know (other than the bugs ) to play the game. I printed it out and use a binder clip to hold the whole thing together.

This did beat ETW's "manual" but so did the instructions on my MP3 player...
Don't blame me, I voted for Pedro!

I learnt eu3 without useing the manual, couldn't work out how to send merchants though. I had to look that up, but still fairly impressive for such a mind melting game.
