How about adding a free for all campaign no predetirmed alliences sorta like all out war everywhere obviously you can ally but in free for all. gondor can ally mordor

It's interesting from a total war point of view, if you want something closer to the regular experience but with LOTR units why not? Besides, it would take all of 5 minutes to edit the campaign file and remove the alliances in there, so wouldn't say it's not worth the time. Very quick mod.

It takes around a minute to edit your own file, and is extremely easy to do.

I would be interested in this as well. It would be nice if it were implemented so that you could just select a box in the menu to turn it on/off. Would open up more game play options to grizzled veterans, who have already played i.e. 30 campaigns the normal way.

but you can mod it yourself. it is not that hard. and if you're
not able to do this ask in the modd-help forum.
