Change general spawn rates?

I was wondering if there is any way in the game files to change the rate at which generals spawn, or cap the total number of generals? I know you can change the rate at which they age, but can you control how many are available and how fast they appear (as candidates for adoption/kids coming of age) or slow the birth rate in the royal family?

UPDATE: While we're here, is there any way to edit thread title if one has, by way of example, put a typo in it?

i dont know - we the mods can but i dont know if you can.
simply try to edit your post - go in advanced mode and look
at the top if there are title change options.

if not simply PM a mod like me from the mod list in the lower
right box in the main forum.

just go to edit post and you can change it right up. Like I did.

In the forum, just click at the side of the title and type.
