Fantastic tool, thanks very much. +rep of course!
I don't know if this has been mentioned but the tool doesn't recognise construction_cost_bonus_wooden.
Nope. How is it supposed to be used? Can you give me a working example?
ps: What game is that from?

Sorry: M2TW/Kingdoms. I have since found it in Alpaca's M2TW Odds'n'Ends list (just to be sure that it's real). I see that it is also missing in some EDB topics; must be a secret one.
It is used the same way as construction_cost_bonus_stone:
Thanks again for this great tool. I used it again yesterday to help fix a comrade's log-less CTD. I shudder to think how long that would have taken manually.Code:construction_cost_bonus_stone bonus 100 construction_cost_bonus_wooden bonus 100

Just came across a capability that the checker doesn't recognize:
Unrecognized capability type: weapon_artillery_mechanical
weapon_artillery_mechanical 1
See here.

Hello,
I don't know where can I post this and where can I have answers for this.
I play SPQR 8.0 mod for Rome Total War patch 1.5
Here is the download link: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=397388
I want to change something in the game.... I want the legionaries and the auxilian and the princeps and the hastati units to have a spear at the start. That spear should look like a pilum. After it, when the enemy is enough close to throw the spear, they'll throw the pilum, and after it they should change to their gladius (sword).
Is this possible to do it?
Can you help me?
Sorry for my bad english...

Token='britons,}'
even though line 446 looks like this

It is not working anymore with the new java version. Any idea how to fix it ?
Thanks
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\version java\bin\javaw.exe" -cp classes checkEDB.EDBValidator
path object EDB Validator x64
Just if someone as, like I had, some trouble to make the above command work to launch the tool on windows 10: you have to execute it from the "EDB validator" folder, the same one the original shortcut are in.
So in PowerShell use the cd command to move to the right folder, the type:If you don't have jre6, you have to change it to the right version in the command. Look inside your file explorer to be sure of the path.Code:'C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe' -cp classes checkEDB.EDBValidator

I'd like to add onto this for people who are completely new to this kinda thing: First type in cmd to bring up the command prompt window in the search bar, then do this exactly : After the C:\Users\*insertyourpc'susernamehere*>
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_311\bin\javaw.exe" -cp classes checkEDB.EDBValidator
in it once done, you could also change the target parameter in the shortcuts menu, to do this: drag the EDB Validator v1.2.8 folder to your desktop, right click the short-cut and select properties after selecting properties, copy and paste this: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_311\bin\javaw.exe" -cp classes checkEDB.EDBValidator
into the bar that says target
(due note: that You have to change the java version if your on a newer or older build of java ((like 6: jre6 or like: jre1.8.0_311 ,this is the currently "newest" build of java)), to check for your version once installed, i'll use my installation as an example: go to C:\Program Files\Java. the part you need to look for what your version is on, is the jre section or part of this: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_311
hopefully this has helped others here, who are struggling with this kinda thing or are new to it. Cheers, Amigo's.
