Goblins Climbing wall?

I searched and did not find anything so dont bash me if there is a thread about this. But will you guys ever try to make goblins climb walls? like making invisible ladders and let the goblins climb the wall? and is it even possible??? just a suggestion so dont bash me on this lol but yeah anyone think it is a good idea? im just throwing this out here.

That's a movie/BfME2 feature and it won't be implemented.

1st. I don't know if it's possible for a unit to be able to climb walls with the m2 engine.

2nd. I think that seems like a cool idea like how in the movie the goblins climbed the walls in Moria when they heard the balrog coming.

...so dont bash me on this because i have anger problems and i tend to get banned with every negative comment written back and its hard for me....

3rd. why would you write that? Because I can think of a few people who would just bash you just to see it happen.

Then all orc factions will have invisible ladders.

Which would be unrealistic, also I haven't read anything about wallclimbing orcs in Moria.

At the Lord Of the Rings Total War Forum I suggested a similar thing, also with invisible ladders! The answer was that it was possible but it would take another culture slot which would take a lot of work!

Even if you forget the lore, it goes against common sense.

Goblins are mammals, so them having the abillity to climb a 200ft, vertical pillar doesn't make sense. Unless, of course, they some how managed to defy the laws of nature, have sexual intercourse with a giant spider and then consive a baby.

BFME2 is actually the greatest LOTR RTS out there so far. Many negative things can be said about it but all in all its a very fun game with excellent pathfinding for the Xbox360.

Goblins climbin wall is an excellent idea but i doubt it can be Implimented

MED2:TW With TA:TW is better although BFME2 is a really fun game

Goblins climbing walls is probably not doable (if you want it to look good) as the goblins will climb in the air and also all goblin units will be able to climb the walls (even trolls)

I think that the idea is hard to implement.Even if we make invisible ladders,they still won't climb walls,but walk in the air,which would be silly-looking...

and yeah,the lore doesn't approve!

Actually, there's the War of the Ring (not that great, but still fun).

Btw, I think the idea is great but as Arthéin said, it would make all infantry (orcs, goblins, Trolls!, uruks etc) be able to climb walls. That won't be good and it would look tacky.

That's because it's the only LOTR RTS series out there -- attributed to EA's monopoly over exclusive rights and how they have the money to get them from WETA etc. That's sort of like saying "Madden is the greatest NFL game series out there" even though they have been the only ones who can legally make an NFL game for some time (like the last 5-7 years or something). Also, even if it's "the best"/only RTS out there, that alone doesn't make it a good game -- I can think of countless problems with that game just off the top of my head.

Some of the game is good and some of it is bad. I wish I could get Drogoth imported into TATW...

I have a technical question - How exactly do BFME2 units fly? Are they on another grid or is their model walk-through? This is an important question and the answer could really help me a lot.

BFME2 have different kind of engine what supports flying creatures and it's impossible to implend it to M2TW.
