    Default Diplomatic problems?

So, I am playing as Muscovy. I had a long and bloody war with Novgorod, and I finally managed to wipe out all of their armies and occupy ALL territories they had. The war statistics meter shows me 100%. They have 0 soldiers, no free city, they are crushed. I de-facto rule their lands. But what do I see when I enter the peace menu? They can only accept to give me 7 of their territories! SEVEN! Seven territories, when I now de-factol control all of them?! And if I try to vassalize them (even without demanding lands), they still refuse! What the freaking hell?! I'm playing the In Nomine 1.0 version without any patches. I don't want to install any patches because I like my Muscovy campaign and a patch would mean that I have to start a new campaign. Is there any cheat to make those arrogant bastards bow to my rule? I want all the territories I conquered, minus the capital.

You can't demand over 100% of the warscore. That's how it worked back then, anyways. Did you see the Prussians demand all of France when they crushed them?

Well, it depends how desperet the loser is; if they keep asking you to annex a large amount of territories of theirs it is possible to ask more than 100% of warscore.

Okay, thanks. Sorry for being so impulsive, just pissed off about it. BTW, how come they don't accept vassalization even if I don't demand any lands?

If they have alot of territories then vassalisation will cost more than 100% of the warscore. It was In Nomine that added that they won't accept over 100% afaik, it doesn't matter what patch it's on.

Lol, no. In Nomine makes the game 100x better. Not being able to vassalise or annex a massive country are realistic.

One more thing. Why are there so much heretics? Every few months I get a heretic rebellion. What the hell? I have +3 stability and highest prestige.

Heretic rebels show up afaik when the religeon in a province isn't the same as your state religeon. As your Moscovy I'd assume your state relligeon is Orthodox, so check if you have any provinces that aren't Orthodox and get converting!

No, you don't understand what I mean. The guys who spawn in the non-state religion provinces are called fanatics and they try to convert you to that religion. In my case, they are heretics, when they show up they aren't adepts of any known religion (e.g. Islamic Rebels, Protestant Rebels), but they show up with some wierd titles and when they capture a province it gets a "Heresy" modificator. If I accept their demands, I will get a "Heretic faction" modificator which would make everybody hate me.

Well, I guess we've all been there once.. or twice
You can pause the game, sue for peace, demand everything you want(Even if it says they wont accept), then prest alt + 2 + 1, the console should appear then type in it "tag NOV", accept the peace offer, then type again tag MOS(I think that is the tag for Muscowy) and there you go ;p

Just checked the wiki, heretics appear if your countries sliders are in the narrowminded, so move towards innovative and that should help.

Okay, thanks, I'll try it. I guess you are right, because one of my sliders (Aristocracy) is full to the left, and the other one (Personal Freedom?) is nearly full to the left as well.

It's possible you're getting heretic rebellions because your sliders are past faction restrictions, especially if A. you're at +3 stability and B. you've just been at war and have war exhaustion. Heretics generally don't pop up if a province already has everything going for you: being your religion it lowers their revoltrisk, so there is something (like a heretic event adding revoltrisk) causing the revolt risk in your province to spike.

Note that Heretics arn't what's causing your rebellions, but they're the rebels those are producing. Nationalism (appears in provinces you've conquered and slowly ebbs away) is the main cause, but things like war-exhaustion or policy restrictions or certain decisions may tip them into revolt.

Usually these result in various rebels. Heretics are just what's popping up. If you adjusted your policy sliders i'd imagine you'd just end up with Peasant rebels instead.
