Please help

I've searched this forum but at this point I'm at such a loss that I think it best to just start a new thread!

I've had EB up and running before but it's been a while and now I come to install it and it doesn't wanna work!? I've tried everything I know. I use vista (unfortuantly) so I made sure RTW is installed putside of the Program Files. Game is patched to 1.5 and works perfectly fine that way but as soon as I install EB1.1 into the main RTW folder I get a 'protection error' everytime I try to start a new campaign? I am the authorizor and UAC is turned off so what am I doing wrong!?!

Try this:
Copy your RTW desktop shortcut. Right click on it and choose Properties. Under the Target line, add at the very end (without quotes) " -mod:eb -show_err -nm". Then see if you can launch the game with that shortcut.
