I've never really come across this until I played as Rohan. I like building armies consisting purely of cavalry because it allows them to move quickly and also because Rohan cavalry is of course pretty good. The AI seems to seriously underestimate their power, however. Right now, I have a completely new army consisting of 2 generals, 2 lancers, 6 horse archers, 6 rohan riders, and 4 scouts. I am being attacked by three armies that all together consist of 6 orc raiders, 2 orc bands, 1 morranon guard, and a general. The battle odds given to me are slightly less than 1:1, which is ridiculous. When I go into this battle, all three armies will certainly be crushed, AND since one of them is coming out of a fortress, I'll take over that settlement without even having to siege it. When I've played as Gondor, the AI seems to respect my soldiers much more and only attacks with large stacks. Is this something that is just hard coded into M2TW (I remember having similar experiences using cavalry heavy armies as the Turks) or is there a value that can be changed to make the AI respect cavalry a little more?
