Unlimited Range Battle Cammera

Not really a mod just something I stumbled across. You can get a camera that can go anywhere on the battle map even under it.


Its a real easy process to unlock the camera just navigate to C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Scripts

Note: the AppData folder is hidden, in order to view it do the following:

Vista/Win 7: Open C:\ click Organize-> Folder and Search Options -> View tab, then under hidden files and folders select show hidden files and folders

Windows XP: Open C:\ click Tools-> Folder Options -> View tab, then under hidden files and folders select show hidden files and folders

open preferences.empire_script.txt and look for this line

default_camera_type X; # default_battle_camera <card32>, default battle camera: 0-totalwar 1-rts 2-debug #

Change X to 2 and you unlock the debug camera which is great for taking screens.
