    Default Did you cry?

I wanted to use the opportunity this wonderful forum gives and make a poll. The question in simple. Did you cry (or at least did you struggled not to) when watching the movies? (If you cried when reading the books, then you can vote too. ) I, personally, had to struggle not to cry in several parts of the movie, but I just couldn't resist an outbusrt at the ending.. it was just too much. And I rarely cry at the movies.

I am very sorry, if this has already been posted. And I know this is kinda off topic, but please don't close this thread. Thanks!

i don't because i can't but it is always good.
this only shows that the writer and the director
did a good job because all they want is to
cause feelings. and being succesful in that
is nothing someone has to ashamed off.

best examples: "ET" or "Reign over me"

i didnt cried but i felt i was swallowed by the epicness of the movie!!
i felt happy and i was raised from my sit in some scenes!!
    Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden!
Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter!
spear shall be shaken, shield shall be splintered,
a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!

That's basically how I felt too.

The only movie that made me cry was "My Dog Skip"

Although, I was 7, and no sane man can keep the tears in his eyes through that heart wrencher

i cried once but it wasn't epic more like a swallow and tearfilled eyes and besides i know its more music then the movie itself either way. EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC.

I cried when it was over...

Saying "please don't close" won't keep a thread open but I'll leave it open (for now) for other reasons even though crushing this thread under the heel of my nazi moderator jackboot would give me great pleasure.

Some people actually cried sorry just joking I did feel a bit melancholy at the end, it is the sign of a good film/book when it moves you to real sadness... Pity they had to leave, but at least they end up in lovely, undying Valinor . Haldir's death was also a bit sad, but at least that was only in the movies.

I always cry a little bit when Boromir dies, it was very sad both in the books and movies.
