    Would that make a substantial difference? The PS and Sicily skins were originally the rebels skins, but I changed the file names. The skins for Milan and venice, though, were the original brigandine skins.

    A unit that is labeled "mercenary" always uses the merc skin. You cannot assign factional skins to those units - you can technically, but they won't show up in game.

    Hm, so I have a really wierd problem.
    I've added a unit named "Hirdmenn" into the game. The textures look fine, but the shields are silver and it looks as if they are trying to use a spear but its all black, and they use the sword animations.
    What the hell is up with that???

    But it is the right texture unfortunately :/ I know it is because i'm taking the texture right out of the pack that I got it from :/ I am using the textures from the "Wrath of The Norsemen" released units pack, and the picture for their Hiršmenn use a sword and shield combo. :/

    Check the path and name of the textures in the modeldb file and then trace the files to see if that is correct.

    I'm having a REALLY annoying problem. So i've added a few units to the kingdom's campaign - i believe i've added 10 now or so?
    Anyways, I just added a new unit tonight... and i'm getting an unspecified error. The log says a bunch of:

    If it is a crash right at the beginning I would bet on an modeldb error. The unit mentioned in the last lines of the log might be pointer.

    Use code tags, or spoilers, but not quotes, or else we can't examine the entry to see if you messed up tailing spaces. Basically if you put it in quotes it automatically looks wrong. To easily get to code tags click advanced and find the # symbol.

    But your log suggests a different problem, and I don't know what it is. Try making sure the model and textures are in the correct folder in your mod.

    Hey guys, i'm ripping my hair out here trying to figure out whats up with my entries and i am wonder why in the world its not working. I am attempting to add a new unit to the game from a modders previous mod that he designed for 1.2.

    Now before you freak out on me for wanting to move stuff from 1.2 to 2.0 but i have examined the files and found no differences between the types of entries made to get units to work in game. But maybe i'm wrong. Here are my modeldb entry and my desc_unit.txt files in hopes to find any kind of help on this subject.
