    You are using a non formatted modeldb, by the looks.

    Hi gigantus,

    I need your help what I was triyng to do is to create a new unit for SS6.1 more exact...royal dismounted hasham...a mixture of dismounted hasham body and ...dismounted sipahi lancers shield and spear...took MESH file for sipahi dismounted_sipahi_lancers_ug2 from MTW2 and merged with dismounted hasham_ug1 to create my new unit MS3D..after I converted back in MESH file to have royal_dismounted_hasham_ug1_lod0-3...so far so good...howevr to edit EDU and Battle_models was a challenge...in EDU I used Dismounted Sipahi Lancers as core ( based on the fact that is a spear unit) and in Battle_models I used same thing..only that I left entry for only royal_dismounted_hasham_ug1 cause no upgrade for this unit...after all textures were copy paste in to the right place(some textures were missing in SS6.1 file but present into MTW2 one) (unit_model, _unit; me_mail_plate_hvy_mplate as per instructons in Battle_Models cause I used core from sipahi unit)...when double click on SS6.1 icon to start game it<s loding I see as the games start the uploading screenshot of the game and right after 2-3 sec CTD..I suppose is something with the MESH file or texture however after 2 days of checking I cant find the issue. If not to much to ask pls have a look on my attachements and let me know. Thank you

    Maybe you misunderstood me: please upload your whole modeldb file and whole export_descr_unit file. I can then use a checker to look for incorrect entries.

    The easiest way will be to compress the files with WinZip or 7Zip. These are programs that are freely available, a little 'googling' will help you there.
    You then click on the 'Go Advanced' button under the Quick Reply window'.

    Below the reply window is now a window "Additional Options"
    There you will see a button "Manage attachments". Clicking it opens a small window that lets you browse for the files you want to attach. Please note the list "Valid extensions" for extensions that your files can have.

    i still have one little question for you if ur not too tired of me i made my unit of a mounted soldier whos secondary arm is sword.. how would i make it a primary if u can tell??

    Thank you ...I guess is a matter of texture cause I created only the mesh but i didnt create the texture and that must be the problem I will see the tutorials there. Thank you
