Vh/Vh= impossible to win campaign?
I am writing to ask if it is really feasible to succeed in a campaign with AI bonuses on, and VH/VH settings? If so, which would be the easiest to get my feet wet? I consider myself to be pretty good at this game, but I usually play on H/H and AI bonuses on, and it can get to be, but isn't always, a bit of a steep challenge. Thanks for any reply!
PS, I would imagine that Ptolemies would be almost impossible, since their units are all inferior to the Seleucid's even on regular difficulty?

Ptolemies are actually easier as they have less enemies around.
To have any hope on VH/VH with bonuses you need to be a master blitzer and exploit every single AI deficency.

I play on M/M and without bonuses, I'm a turtle.
For insane challenges you need to look elsewhere.
If you actually want a less insane challenge I started one in the XC forums.

Re: Vh/Vh= impossible to win campaign?
Ive played a few Vh/Vh campaigns AI bonuses on, never finished them as even though im winning I find he AI annoying.
I now prefer to play on H/Vh bonuses on as it gives a little more diplomacy and not the straight out attack, which incidently often gives the AI chance to build up more and more fun battles are had.
Yes you have to be good at battles to win with crazy stats at the end but its more about concentrating your forces and keeping attacking. When you have had a couple of battles it is very tempting to withdraw and retrain unfortunatly this cost alot and the AI is able to come back at you with fresh stacks, once you get an advantage in the field it is useless unless it is followed up by taking a few cities.
Greece isn't too bad on Vh/Vh as long as you manage your borders well, though taking on the TSE will be a beast. Spain I also liked, I almost completed that campaign just as I was about to take Rome, Macadon appeared and it will take me a crazy number of battles to grind down thier stacks to allow me to divert my elite forces for the garrison script.

If H/H with bonuses on is not enough of a challenge then I suggest you add some "house rules" to make things more difficult. Here's a few that I usually play by:
Campaign:
(1) Never assault a city on the first turn of a siege, even if your spies open the gates, or you have siege weapons.
(2) Landing an army from ships to hostile territory always takes one turn - i.e. don't do anything after landing until the next turn.
(3) Never send an army into hostile territory without a general.
(4) Don't attack armies at sea.
Battle:
(1) No bridge battles.
(2) Don't exploit the red line.
(3) Fight on level open ground if it's available (this one is more for Greek factions).
