Does anyone know which button is the shell button for EB or how to get it as it were? I have tried every key I can think of with no success. With out it, I cannot save my epic campaign battles (save_replay_nameofreplay) using the shell![]()

RomeShell opens with the "`/~" key as in RTW. If you have a non-standard or non-English keyboard, it may be different, but it should be the button just below the ESC key. Some people have had problems with certain settings not allowing them to open RomeShell, though I don't recall what if any solutions were found.
Running vista might be the problem, just go into your text folder and edit descr_shortcuts, scroll down and you'll find debug_show_console or something, it will have "hidden" behind it, remove it save, start game, go into options, controls and set keys to default, it will show Debug_console and set it to a key, i use F1 but if you want to use the "~" you need to go into device manger, Human Interface Devices, and uninstall Microsoft EHome Infrared Tranciever.
Its not too important and it will reinstall if you put and external drive or USB on.
How come nobody told me you could save replays of Campaign battles? *writes down the code*
I like pie.
I am wondering the same. It would be a great tool for the AAR community.
How does this command work? Do you enter it before, during or after the battle? Do you need to include the replay extension (.rpy) or simply the intended name? Does it overwrite replays without warning?
