So where do you think you go to ? Heaven or Hell. I think this question is only for Christians. But I made a other option for the other people.

Heaven: You go to that place if you have been forgiven of your sins. You are a good person, you help old people. Do good stuff, you never killed a person, (I think) You don't have done anything illegal. ...

Hell: You are a bad person, you don't care for other people. You have killed sombody. You have shoot people, been in prison. Doesn't show respect. Hasn't go to the church to be forgiven of his sins. ...

Other place: For the people that are not Christians. And have a other belief. Or think there is something else after you die. And your spirt goes to an other place. Or think something else ...

If spirits/souls exist then I don't know where will my spirit go.

Heaven/hell concepts are childish.

But in the end I think that it'll be over just like that, a black curtain falls and all of a sudden you no longer exist sad but plausible.

Hell; technically sins cannot be completely "forgiven" as long as you are alive - your sins got forgiven, and yet you are making some after that.

Technically that's exactly what happens when one is born again, that all their sin is forgiven and must be so otherwise none can be saved. A person with sin cannot, no matter how small, get into heaven. It's just not possible. But let's put it this way, when Jesus Christ made the sacrifice on my behalf, it, the sacrifice, was done but once, but it covered all my sin from birth until the day I die. And, if so that makes me in a position to enter heaven.

Heaven / Hell is a ludicrous concept. I've no idea what happens after death, but i'm pretty certain it's neither of those.

We know from history that most believed in an afterlife. They had their gods revealing they believed on something outside of our existence, which in turn has become the need to please, to assuage the god who takes their pleasure.

From the books of the Law in the Hebrew religion we find that as their God has a Spirit, is Himself Spirit with claims to be the only God, that aside, it is not then presumptuous to accept that we too have spirits. What perhaps separates this God from others comes down to the question of does He deliver? And if so what does happen to us when we die?

This is where heaven, His dwelling, and Hell, His jail bluntly put, come in. Why? Because in His story none can get into heaven without heavenly help. We are all without that help, Hell bound. Now unlike the other religions He makes provision for help but that provision is dependent on believing that He can and does do it.

And to do that He doesn't wait for death as other religions do. His claim is that the help needed is provided before death comes, indeed it is imperative that the help be taken up before death because after there is only Hell. The claim being that what stops men getting into heaven can be erazed from off them. Surprisingly only those who have had that help can possibly know whether His claims do deliver. Others can only speculate.

I'd definetly go to hell. I am not a Christian, but since the poll is geared towards the Christian religion I voted as if I was one. I never go to Church unless I have to. (so not since 2006) I swear quite a bit. I suppose I've sinned. And I won't repent them, unless something happens.

No...For me it's if...

If your certain that your going to die, then that means lack of free will, since there is one un-escapable end result of everything, which you cannot deny no matter how much you will it. So it's "If".

For me i chose other, i belive in a concept of Heaven and Hell, but it's not that simple, for one, thers not 2 end results, but infinite end results...what they are? Nobody knows, or can know, for that implies lack of free will.

the idea of a 'true world', Plato's or the christian version of the thing, has been negated by the 19th century existentialists:

There is a true world, but no-one ever reached it (and could tell something about it), so it can only bring hope
=> the "true world is never reached, so why could we get hope out of that idea ? we don't even know WHAT it is
=> if no-one ever reached it, does it exist ?
=> the "true world doesn't exist, so we don't have to worry about it


the idea of a soul is negated too. If people have a soul, where is it ? Why is it tied to our body ? Why can't it be proved ?
We have no soul, we are born as a free individual and we are doomed to use that freedom, though this freedom leads to a situation in which people keep on acting in a self-imposed role (to identify yourslef with the waiter).

Depends on your interpretation of the idea. I view the soul as existing mostly outside of the physical universe. The part of it that overlaps with the physical, I view as the energy produced by a living thing.

Why is it tied to our body?

Who knows? Perhaps it's just an intrinsic quality of living things? "That which is, is"; or however you wish to put it.

Why can't it be proved?

How can you physically demonstrate something that is by definition beyond the physical?
