    Default Artmoney

    I've been told again and again not to try to cheat on E:TW, but I'm only doing this out of curiosity. I'd like to see the dutch conquer Austria or something farfetched like that. Anyway does anyone here know how to actually use artmoney? I've looked in it's manual but it might have well been chinese. Sorry about being such a bad sport, I know it's wrong.

    It's usually quite easy to make enough money to expand in ETW. It's simply a matter of learning how to do that. It's a skill that you can use in any TW game and probably many other games.

    Start with upgrades to your farms and other economic buildings. You will probably be attacked quite early on in your South American territory so I'd add one or two units there. You will also probably be attacked by the Spanish and French in your home territory - simply stay on the defensive and hang in there.

    Make sure that you start trading with as many factions as possible. The larger factions should be able to defend their trade ports and trade hubs but don't count on it. Try and start trading with Hannover, Wurttenburg etc as well (your neighbours).

    As the UP you may lose your trade fleet in the Far East to pirates on the first or second turn - which dies cause some problems.

    Money is very ease to obtain in empire total war without cheating...
    but in case you want to do it,of course is your choise..

    You run the game and then the artmoney
    in the middle you see a drop down menu you open it and choose empire total war
    Then go to search and type exactly the money you have and push search

    You will have a lot results..

    go back to game and buy something(build something,reqruit a unit)

    then go back to art money and choose filter..then type again your money there(usually you will have one result after this,if not continue spend money and filter until you get one result)

    when you have one result choose it and then choose the arrow to bring it to the right box.Then edit the money you want there and click enter,then save and put whatever name you want...
    thats it go back to game and you will have the money you want.

    I ll try to make it better

    open the art money and then open the game.
    while in game alt+tab to switch to artmoney
    then from the dropdown menu choose empire total war



    Now go to your game and see how much money you have



    alt+tab back to artmoney and click search to the up left corner and type your money there



    click ok button and you will have a lot of results...
    now go back to your game and spend some money...(recruit unit,build something)
    so your money now changed..



    now back again to artmoney...click filter and type the new money in(in my example 6750)



    click ok and if you do it like I said you will now have only 1 result



    check the result and choose the red arrow to bring it right



    Now edit(double click it or click+enter) the money and put the number you like then press enter
    for example I put in 900000



    Now go back to your game and see your money

    Sorry, not quite done. I've conquered France and it's great and all but I used up so much money out of my 90000 that I'm down to £120. Now, that wouldn't be a problem except that there is nothing I can buy in £120, and anything that needs fixing is either fixed or in the process of being fixed. I cannot spend any money so I am stuck. Should I just stop being lazy and actually raise the tax level or something like that, or is there a more practical way?

    This is not a problem at all.If you dont change your money at this turn go to the next turn and then your money will change and you can filter then.
    Artmoney will not lose the first number if you change turns
