title says all
Personally I play with it off since it affects so few factions. Still if are planning to play as Rome or the GCS it's worth the installation to give your game that extra dimension.
Off. I never liked it in BI and I don't like it in XGM.
I wanted to turn it on so that the independent romans could come back. It pisses me off it was so easy to kill them and then they were gone in off-mode. A waste of a faction slot that could have been put to better use!(illyrians, mauryans, a REAL pergammon or cyrene or phyrrus or aetolian league)
Maybe THAT's what the install shoudl be, "Inde Romans, or another faction that isn't a carbon copy of another?"
I kind of want to create the roman empire then have the east or entire west rebel on purpose so that it woudl be like BI, minus so many factions. A rome vs. rome campaign with Germans, saba(maybe), inde gauls, sarmatians, and parthia at each of their gates woudl be interesting to conquer.

i click it, screen goes black, goes back to provincial campaign select screen.
is it in something other than 3.3. Beta extended cultures?
I'll download whatever that is and give it a try.
It's also in Extended Cultures 3.2.5 or .6 I think, and in XGM latest few versions. Check the version history for both to see when it appears.
If you are using Extended Cultures, make sure you aren't using the Senate campaign, provincial campaigns don't work for that right now. Otherwise, if you get an error message when you quit let me know what it says (and when you get an error in the future, make a report).
