Deleting mod-foldered mods
First off, sorry if this is in the incorrect place. I'd like to know the correct procedure that I need to follow when I wish to get rid of a mod-foldered mod.
Is all done when I simply delete the folder in which I have installed it, or do I need to do something more? I've noticed that some mods are registered as a program in the Configuration Screen, but that is rare, so I'm wondering what I need to do.

Just delete the modfolder. You might be left with the shortcut .icon, a readme or a .bat file (all small files) inside your RTW folder, but that would be no problem.
