AOR units
Hi team, I tried to search, but did not find anything on this or maybe I searched not good enough, anyway....
I wanted to ask, I see faction specific units and also location specific units tied to regions or buildings in SS 6.1.
Therefore I wanted to ask for example if as Irish or Scotish I would take Nottingham, would I be able to recruit the Sherwood Archers or if I took the spanish towns with the special Heavy Cavalry, would I be able to recruit them as Irish??? or am I limited only by the units I can recruit as Irish (excluding the Mercs of course).??

If you are using RR/RC then I think that you can recruit some basic local troops from the region you capture, but not the advanced troops. e.g. as Ireland you can recruit balkan archers in hungry but wouldn't be able to recruit their noble knights.

In RR/RC you can only recruit the basica and locals of other factions. And maybe mercs.

what about units from Special buildings?? will I be able to recruit them once I conquered the City/castle that has the special building?? that would be great...as it would make sense to conquer...hold these kind of towns

No I don't think you can recruit any special units from conquered places, as i guess it wouldn't make much sense for example having the elite egyption mamluks fighting for some christians that just exterminated their settlement, etc.
Makes it more fun too as for each faction you play you get their own unique troops, otherwise you could play as 1 faction and already have access to all the good units

If you are interested there are some topics in this forum on making unique troops available to whoever holds the city - especially on Jerusalem and the Knights of Jerusalem / Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. This can be quite extensive. Besides the recruitment info you also need to reassign /check texture information for all factions that will be able to recruit them or you'll be facing silver surfers or ghosts if you bring those units to battle.
