Default Kim Il Jong has decided to become a brewer!

"the beer relieves stress and improves health and longevity!"
Watch the video, a new cult classic from the 80's!

One of the few food commercials ever shown in North Korean television, and probably the first about drink, says the South Korean that administrates the North Korean TV.

How will Kim's drink hit the market? Is it really a good investment for one of the worlds most poor peoples which is already dependant on aid of food from other countries?

Perhaps they've decided that alcohol lowers intelligence reducing the chances of revolt. Or alcohol related deaths will help reduce the surplus population without government intervention.

Interesting how they didn't mention the price. poor people wouldn't buy it because they don't have TVs, so only rich people can.....

    $20 beer!!

    have you ever tried it???

you do know what Budweiser is made of, right?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budweis...euser-Busch%29

Budweiser is made with a large proportion (up to 40%[1]) of rice in addition to hops and barley malt, for which it has received some criticism, though the company takes the position that the rice gives the beer a lighter taste.
once again, have no prejudice, the North Korean beer probably doesn't taste much worse than a pint of Bud anyway.

Budweiser is not a proper beer anyway.

I actually agree with you wholeheartedly, but sometimes when it is really hot out, an ice cold Bud is not a bad idea at all .

either way, I'd take Czech Budweiser over American one any day.

btw it is sold in the US under "Czechvar" brand.

The american budweiser or the czechian budweiser

And why do you think the american one is only sold in american (in large quantities)??
People there buy everything that says; 'beer' even while it is rice juice.
    Miss me yet?

Supposedly this beer is actually pretty good, because North Korea is so backwards that they only have (shock, horror) natural ingredients and old-fashioned brewing processes to make it.
