Unspecified Error
Ugh, I hate when this happens. This is why I stopped playing Third Age Total War. It was a great game, but I was playing Dale and finally getting the ball rolling and then kabloom.
In this mod it's happening with my Rajput game. It's 11-something and I have just destroyed the Sindhis and have control over all of India. However, when I end the turn the AE gets to the Ghorid turn and it CTD's me with the very helpful error message of Unspecified Error.
I have tried to move some troops around. remove all city build orders, and nothing seems to make a difference. The AI even does different things (my spies sometimes see the Seljuks moving on the Omani's, sometimes they don't, but each time, unspecified error.
I had just gotten to the high tier units, too, and never got to see them in action.
Has anyone ever found a solution to this? I know it's not specific to BC, but I'm sure some of you have seen it. My last alternate save game is like 4-5 hours of playtime back, so it's not even worth it. Maybe I'll try ERE now with the new AOR system, or Oman.

Re: Unspecified Error
Problems reports should be posted in BC Tech Help thread.
Try to go back few turns and just re-play them, and don't save in the year you experience CTD. I've had similar problem, twice, on different years, reloading and replaying helped.

Re: Unspecified Error
I apologize. Maybe I was bleary with exhaustion, but I swear I looked for a tech support sticky and didn't see one. I was actually going to comment on that.
Just to make this thread more useful, at what rate do you all usually save your game, and in how many separate files?
