English Archers - How to recruit
How do I recruit archers in England - other than peasant archers and Sherwood Foresters. I am currently at 1136, or thereabouts, but can't find any buildings that recruit either Yeoman archers or Longbowmen.
Have searched the various posts without finding any clues. I suspect that I am missing something totally obvious!

What sub-mods are you using?

You are most likely using RealRecruitment and/or Byg's Grim Reality submods. I suggest looking at those threads in the submods forum.

Re: English Archers - How to recruit
Thanks for the replies.
I am using the RealRecruitment mod and, having read the sub-mod thread, suspect that anything beyond peasant archers will need to wait until ca. 1300. My english history of this period is not so sharp, so am guessing that longbowmen would not have been important a huge length of time ahead of Crecy and Owain Glendower.

Re: English Archers - How to recruit
As England you will also be able to recruit generic 'Archers' from game start, probably from a practice range. Longbowmen start to become available after about 1220, a bit early really, but are only recruitable in English start regions, or nearby regions at lower availability.
