uruk-hai were different from the half man/orc creatures. Tolkien only called them goblin men and half orcs.

This isnt compatible with any other mod than Agostinos Additional Units mod. By the way Uruk-Hai are half orc half men, thats what gives them the same body structure as men.
    Taken from wikipedia:
The race of Uruk-hai, described as very large black Orcs of great strength, first appeared about the year 2475 of the Third Age, when they conquered Ithilien and the city of Osgiliath. These original Uruks were of Sauron's breeding, but Saruman bred his own, making further improvements such as resistance to sunlight and more upright stature. All Uruk-hai were larger and stronger than other breeds of Orc and consequently looked down upon and often bullied them.
In The Two Towers, Aragorn observes that the fallen Uruk-hai at Amon Hen were not like any breed of Orc he has seen before. Treebeard speculates that Saruman had crossbred Orcs and Men, "a black evil".[1] These Orcs, who named themselves "the fighting Uruk-hai", made up a large part of Saruman's army, together with the Dunlendings and other human enemies of Rohan.[2][3] They were faster, stronger, and larger than normal Orcs and could travel during the day without being weakened, although they still did not like it.[1] Saruman fed them with human flesh.[4] Saruman's Uruk-hai fought against the Rohirrim at the Battles of the Fords of Isen, at the first of which King Théoden's son Théodred was killed, and the Battle of the Hornburg, where the vast majority of the Uruks were defeated and destroyed.[3]

EDIT: Uruks and Uruk-Hai are the same except Uruks are a larger kind of orc, and uruk-hai is half man half Uruk.
    Wikipedia:
It is stated that Uruk-Hai had been bred from Orcs and "Goblin-men", instead of Orcs and Men. In Tolkien's writings "Goblin" is just another term for Orcs (Although the term is mostly applied for the Moria orcs). They tend to be tall, broad, burly and to have long thin hair.

But Tolkien in the same Two Towers mentioned half-orcs apart from Uruks,if I remember correctly.so--> Uruks were bred using Men but they were not half Men IMO

also I found just yesterday a thing about Uruks/Uruk-hai.In The Unfinished Tales it is said that Uruks is "anglicized form of Uruk-hai of the Black Speech"

    It's very simple

    Open world\maps\campaign\Imperial_campaign\ Descr_strat.txt

search for Elrond, and add this ", battle_model Elrond" or what you did name his model, put it after "portrait Elrond".

And it's very sensitive, if the model is named Elrond you can't write elrond

Yes, i think he already has his portrait though, and when i added battle_model Captain_Elrond(I named him this so i wouldnt have to change the numbers in the models.db "elrond" has as many characters as "elvish")
The game crashes at startup, when i check the log there is about a mile down full of errors in the descr_strat

I dont know, I changed them to fit in with the archers. I wanted them to be abit different from each other and not exactly the same just with a bow instead of sword and shield.
I appreciate any at all ideas for new units!
