    Icon9 Barbarians!

    Is it possible to have more development for barbarians when you're finished with the Seleucids? I'd like to play more as the Gauls or the Germani, and the Britons and Dacians' absence means the balance of power's a bit limited

    The rebel armies are actually more difficult to take I'd not expand barbarian factions until FOE is released and the merge is done...

    I played Bosporan Kingdom, it's good but I think they'd be more balanced with one of the rebel territories still. And AqD, I'm not scared by the Eastern campaigns, I just don't like the Seleucids and the Ptolemies because their empires are too spread out and misshapen. I like Bactria, Pontus and Macedon and I've played them all (to imperator on vanilla RTW for Macedon and Pontus ). And I like Armenia, I'll try Galatia and Epirus on ExRm sometime...

    Also, I like the western barbarian factions... probably has something to do with not being Semitic, Greek, Iranian or Italian...

    Yes. The thracian unit roster is being completely changed... But other barbarian factions are not on the todo list yet.

    I'm an Orthodox Christian but I'm English. I've got a very wide family though (Scottish, Viking, Norwegian, French, English, Norman and Welsh ).

    I think aqd's mod is too much "eastern" to develop barbarian factions further. Maybe later it will have a map like in Asia-ton-barbaron mod or in Broken Crescent mod. Or not?
