First wave of Crusaders (German) appears in Anatolia, led by Frederick Barbarossa, as they did.
Second wave comes directly to Tyre by boats, led by Philippe Augustus and Richard the Lionhearted.
Third wave comes much later, and is triggered by fall of Antioch, led by Louise IX of France.
And I believe there is a fourth wave.......
And if Jerusalem is destroyed as a faction before those armies come, they will still come, but as a bunch of scripted rebels, scripted to take Jerusalem, Jaffa, Acre and Antioch, so Ayyubid player should always be on guard.
Finally, if Jerusalem ain't destroyed, and you play as Ayyubids, those armies will nuke you. If you play as any other player, those armies will be passive. And if you play as Jerusalem, those armies will devastate your economy, but with them, you will be able to compensate all losses and possibly turn the war with the Ayyubids to your favor.
