Editing Desc_strat ?

Hi i have tried to change some things in Descr_strat file in DLV 6.1, But i cant save when im ready so i have tried to copy and replace the original file .but when starting new Campaign im being thrown back to main menu. does someone know what the problem is ?
What im trying to do is changing the rebellstacks in the beginning, only replacing some pro units whit more peasants and such.
