[Ergonomics]

Im using the mod which increases unit size 2.5 times, so line infantry has 400/per. When i use square formation, its pretty bad as its only 2 ranks deep, and is about 50 metres each side. In reality a square side was only around 18 metres, with around 3 to 4 ranks of men.

is there a way to beef up the ranks of the square formation? ie making it 3 or 4 ranks deep, which would also solve the size issue as it would naturally reduce its own size as more men are on the inside of the square.

Another note, i wanted to see if line infantry could use the pike square formation (it would solve the above) but when i change the square_formation to pike_square_formation in the britain line infantry section in the unit_to_unit_abilities, it simply removes the square formation ability in game, and doesnt add pike square. is this purely to do with the fact they arent equipping pikes? if so is there any way to make the pike square formation work with muskets?

this is where im editting said abilities (could be my problem):

unit_to_unit_abilities_junctions_tables > unit_to_unit_abilities_junctions > euro_line_infantry_britain

it also won't work just by adding a new value at the end for euro_line_infantry_britain and setting it to pike_square_formation

edit: well it appears formations themselves are hardcoded, so no 4 rank deep squares atm. But if anyone could get the pike square formation to sit with muskets it would be nice.
