Does anyone know how to edit the colors of the factions on the campaign map along with the borders??
Very funny and old tale of Mordor. The grass is always greener.

nvm i just fiqured out how to do it..i think.
if u want to know how to do this just go to C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data\decr_sm_faction: and under the line primary_colour for its main colour and secondary_colour for the borders. im not 100% sure this is it so don't trust this...but im going to give it a try

Please anyone correct me if im wrong

EDIT: it works i just changed gondors colors to black and white

    you mean something like that:

if so you have to edit the "descr_sm_factions.txt" file for it by changing
the secondary colors of to the same values as the primary colors.

if you want it to look like in my TATW game you can simply use my file.
just replace the existing one in 'Third_Age' > 'data' !

(the original colors are still existing in my file but they are disabled with ";")

You can find any color you want using paint. Go to colors->edit, choose the color you want and the numeric values of the color are those on the R: G: B: side of the color chooser. (of course this works with photoshop or any other image editor too, but everyone has paint)

You misunderstood me I wanted to see the R/G/B values of each vanilla faction to incorporate it into LTC gold which removed borders and thus made the holy roman empire color black appear totally misconfigured since black couldn't work without borders.

I used the unpacker and found the original descr_sm_factions and just took the values from there but thanks for your effort =)
