CTD, I can't play hot seat !

Hello, I'm french and I do not speak English I warn you, I have version 6.2 of the DLV, and when I'm selecting the factions, there is a CTD if I click on a second faction .
This is not a problem to play alone, however, I can not play in hot seat because of it, and it is very problematic.
I know this is something known, are there a solution? People do not they have this problem and can play several with the same version of DLV as me? Thank you in advance for your reply.

I don't know about hotseat play, but the clicking on a second faction at the selection screen is a well-known bug that there is no solution for.

Try disabling some factions as playable (Papal States and Aztecs would be a good start). Make it so that some factions can not be played by a Human player.
No idea if it will help but it MIGHT.

I've never thought about doing that, but it makes sense. I've never played as the Papal States and only played the Aztecs once (I quit when after reaching the Old World and conquering a settlement in Africa, I still didn't have access to horse and gunpowder units).

Well the early part wasn't too bad, just building an army and territory in the New World. But once I crossed the Atlantic and established a foothold in Africa, it went south from there. Not being able to build horse and gunpowder units made it impossible to fight anyone other than rebel armies (and sometimes not even those).

I thought I'd be able to hire mercenaries, but they were never available. Eventually I just quit in disgust.
