Current Macedon Campaign:
I have been doing things a little different to I normally do in my campaigns and am having results which are very unusual for me. I have occupied 90% of all cities conquered with 2 being exterminated and 1 enslaved because I needed to move on quickly. Also I have not as yet (I think anyway) invaded territories which are in my allies starting spheres of influence, if there is such a thing that is, only exception is I have Lilybaeum(sp?) in Sicily. Now, I have an alliance with Thrace that I have had since turn 1 and it has held. A short time later I got one with Germania, and again that has never been broken. Carthage broke it's alliance with me but later asked for a new one. Bactria joined in alliance with me as did Pontus the turn after it quit it's very brief alliance with TSE.
So I wondering, does the way you behave affect your standing among other factions? And are there any other factors that affect how a faction views you? Is there an underlying mechanism in the game that controls this but you just don't see it, like you do in M2TW with Reputation for example?
Any here is a screenshot of my campaign, I am only at war with Rome and TSE. TSE is still very highly ranked so I am assuming they still have most of their empire. They are not however making many attempts to take back Antioch and after their last defeat they have moved away and left me alone. Again I am not used to this so are they perhaps not so concerned about me because once at Antioch I halted and have been trying to sue for peace since?
