    Default Wierd Question

Hey guys! So i'm in the middle of a campaign with Rhun and I've been trying to follow the ancilliaries for my generals. For instance ones with Exotic tastes build shisha palaces and ones with more military attuned traits build military buildings etc. I have noticed, however, that as I have expanded outwards my generals back on the home front all seem to have really low loyalty. I also have 2 "islands" under my control. Once I had slain the Silvan Elves, Dwarves, and Dale, I couldn't expand except by going on crusades past OotMM and Mordor. Using crusades I conquered little territories within the middle of my opponents lands and now I'm using those as staging points for greater conquest. I have one in southern gondor supporting Mordor and Harad and one in Bree to support to OotMM and Isengard(they wiped out Rohan) against Eriador and the High Elves.

Now, back to the point, my generals back around the Sea of Rhun have really low loyalty since my Chieftan is galavanting accross Eriador. Recently, however, he passed away and his son(also in Eriador) took the throne. This got me thinking, what if the main royal family died and my faction split apart into Rhun and then the Islands of Rhun.

So this roundabout post really comes down to two questions: Is there a way for my faction to split into two factions and if so, who needs to die?

No, I am afraid not. Empire: Total War has a system where your kingdom can rebel and then you can choose to be the Rebels or Empire, but it is not in the Medieval 2: Total War engine.

Probably the cause of low loyalty among your generals is because they are not sent into battle, causing them to feel not appreciated. If you will take them to more battles then their loyalty will increase.
