I read somewhere that it was a contested issue, whether the lore bonus was worth the potential gameplay loss. What do you think?
Yes, all of the features would be great to have later.
No, the developer's have the game balanced as it is meant to be played.
Meh, having some of it would be enough. Let the developer's of Third Age pick and choose what they want to include.

I think it's a great sub-mod. I also think that it should remain as a sub-mod. There's so many things that have yet to come to surface from the development team. All we need to do is be patient. They are doing some really top-notch things with this mod and are going to continue working to keep it that way. Be it new content or better game play (CAI, BAI).
RR/RC has some great ideas and implements them well. And If I'm not mistaken, Point Blank is apart of the TATW team. Which means some of those great things will be put into future versions of TATW. A lot of people love the hardcore game play RR/RC brings into the mod, but at the same time there are others who wouldn't have the original (and it's patches) any other way than when it was released.
Apologies...almost (keyword almost) a WALLOFTEXT.

Oh please no. It is fine the way it is. RC should remain as a submod.
I trust the devs on this one to do what's best. It's their mod after all, and they've done an outstanding, superb, amazing, awesome, <insert superlative here>, <insert superlative here>, job so far.![]()

In my opinion the mod is 10 times better with it with all RR/RC components and the included submods.
But I understand that some people wouldn't like a challenge lore vise gaming experience...
But don't misunderstand me the mod is phenomenal as it is.![]()
2D artist for Call of Warhammer TW; 2D artist for Westeros TW; 2D artist and researcher for The Ruins of Arnor TATW sub-mod; 2D artist for Warcraft TW.
It should remain optional IMO
Some nice ideas but the hole sub-mod should stay optional IMO.
Also I don't think a poll wouldn't be representative for the hole fan base of this mod.
I think the percentage of the Tolkien purists active in this forum is much higher than in the complete fan base.
(I assume the creators want this mod be played by as much people as possible, but I'm not in the team so I can't say it definitely)
I would opt for a solution like in Stainless Steel 6.1, this would mean you can choose whether or not to install RRRC when installing Third Age by simply ticking a box. Works fine imo.
I agree RRRC is not for everybody, but it´s too good to be left out!

Agreed. Especially with the installation part. We could have a poll of all the popular submods and then the users can decide which ones they want installed, the installer could include a small text file describing each submod and what it deos. This helps new users a lot.
The AI is like a retarded overwieght child. He realy want all those fries, he just does not know how to get them. http://img1.coolspacetricks.com/imag...unny/81776.gif

Remain optional while there is a big among of work in RR-RC the change made are not for every one ,i tryed it for a week or so and came back to the vannila 1.1 .
I started 2 campaign whit RR-RC at first look i was amazed , i started as the silvan elf going for around 100 ish turn , the game is harder more challenge but the time i had my heavy silvan spearman mordor as destroyed rohan-gondor-dale starting having my good unit wen all faction are destroyed was a gamebreaker for me .
The third age team really know theirits probably the best mod on any TW game ever created i have great trust in them and i really thing they will keep impress us whit they next releases .
Patriotism... is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.
Freedom of choice is one of the greatest things one can have. Hence RC+RR + Loreshould remain a submod or become a chooseable extension at installation

Optional like RC for SS![]()
No, have it remain as a sub-mod, or at least make it optional.
RC would be nice. RR, maybe not.
I play only RC/RR but i think it should be kept seperate, because it´s a bit harder and you need a version for beginners.
I think it is a bit extreme in some points (Elven Recruitment vs Orcish Recruitment for one), and it makes it quite a bit more challenging. I think that, if the team could pick and chose what gives the game a better play without a major overhaul, it would be a great combination. I trust their opinions in what to add and what to ignore.
RC/RR dosn't do it for me it tries to imrpove the gameplay by cutting of my legs not giving me the army i have worked so hard to get sitting with 40k does not satisfy me in anyway. maybe we should abandon the income system. i buy crappy units because they cheap and i use them as fodder i dont wanna be forced to buy them when i can afford not to.
Limitation by income not recruitment slot
if i could vote i would vote no and if i could vote twice i would vote no twice
The submod ruins the whole economic sytem of TATW.
Edit: when you make a poll make a statement like
Should RC/RR be including in TATW?
1.Yes
2.no
3.It should be up for the devolopers to decide.
I find it hard to understand if you want it in ? or as optional ?
