I'm glad you are enjoying FRRE

The background to why the team decided against including Quintus Tullius Cicero is summarised in the following Dev Forum post:

Quintus Tullius Cicero served in Gaul from 54-51 before accompanying his brother M. Tullius Cicero to Cilicia. He supported Pompeius during B.C fighting at Pharsalus. After this battle he was pardoned by Caesar, returning to Rome in 47. An able and energetic commander Q. Tullius Cicero's career is colourful and would be fun to depict in the Mod. However Salvor is already scripting Labienus' defection. I believe it would be unrepresentative to have another of Caesar's starting legati go over to the Pompeiani

Anyway, thank you for your support

Do you want me to take him out of the download?
    But thanks for your answer.

I don't think Quintus Tullius Cicero fought with Pompieus or against Caesar.

This is an excellent initiative. As in the end he performed as an outstanding legate for Caesar, I do not think that you should remove Cicero from the pack.

No less an authority than Marcus Tullius Cicero confirms Quintus sided with Pompeius (i.e Ad Atticum XI.12.2, XI.6.7). This information is supported by Cornelius Nepos (Atticus 7.3), who states that following victory at Pharsalus Caesar released Quintus Cicero from Pompeius' camp.

I suppose based on the available evidence it is moot whether Quintus assumed a combat command during the bellum Civile. However there is no doubting he was with the Pompeiani in Greece.

    Agreed

The FRRE Team ultimately decided against inclusion to avoid Quintus fighting for Caesar against the Pompeiani. However no one disputes the important role Quintus played in the bellum Gallicum.

All the generals added either died or defected so I understand why they weren't added, but one of the things I like to do is kind of replay history so that my favorite guys don't die or defect. Obviously though if you want to simulate them dying or defecting, just send them on a suicide mission.

Too bad Ive finish my reliving of the Bellum Gallicum and Civile.
Well, the important thing is that there is Caesar and the legions.
Oh, and of course Vercingetorix and Pompey.

Great Idea on the additions T10thL!

..The two legati who got killed, reminds me when I was messing around with the script of TFT, placing the commands; kill Sabinus in 54 and Crassus in 53 and even Cotta too.

    Thank you.
To be honest Im curious what commanders got what legions in your campaigns?
I always give the 10th to Caesar, the 7th to Crassus, the 8th to Sabinus, 9th to Labienus, and the 13th to Brutus. I don't know if any other than the 10th are historically correct, but Im used to seeing them there.
