in the projectiles tables, its weapon related so be careful or you could give the AI smg muskets![]()

Best not to play with reload skill if you intend to make a universal change. Edit projectiles instead.
Toon just scroll down in the projectiles table to matchlock musket , go across and you will see a clump of number 30s that colum is the base reload times ...![]()
thanks mate, have seen that and i have tried the one for faster reload time for the actuall unit in units_stats_land table and i set it to 80!!!, guess what made no diffrence at all, still seemed to load as if it was set to 30??, as the unit in question are marksmen and was hoping for better reload??
I have a Projectiles file in a mod seperatley but i dont want to change the reload for all the units using the matchlock rifle!!, so guess i am stuck for now![]()
I'm currently trying to get a unit to fire at around 30 shots per minute (for a 20th century units deal). Anyways, I found that by creating a new projectile based off of an existing one in the projectiles table (in your case, some kind of standard musket), and then using that projectile instead of whatever one the unit originally had, I can get up to 12 shots per minute (substantially more than a realistic 3 or 4 for a good 18th century unit)
