I am quite sure this is not a novel idea but anyway here it is

1. use the vanilla campaign map for mtw2 step uno~

2. then each region on the vanilla map has its own mini campaign map with like 5 settlements( which you play and conquer just like in campaign mode)

3. on the main campaign map A region does not show up as conquered nor do you get any income from it until you have conquered all of the settlements in it. for instance a city like paris must`ve had several satellite towns or suburbs see were I am going with this?

I do not even know if this possible with the Mtw2/Kingdoms game engines but I do know it add a new level of dynasism too the game first it would make campaigns longer and more involved deter wanton barbaric conquering (like we all want to be mongols or something) you cannot expand further than your economy can support and having to assimilate the whole region before you start to recieve profits means; it will not be realistisc to go after more than one region every few turns and your infrastructure must be strong enough to support your endeavor

well that is an idea I am personally trying to get my own mod project rolling but I thought I`d just throw this idea out there
