    Default A .pack question

Say , how can you take a file from the original .pack files (for instance localisation.luc (or whatever it's called) into your custom .pack file ?)

Right click on the file, there should be an option 'extract selected', extract the file to your data folder, and you should find the file under the same subfolders they are in the pack file (eg. if I extracted the 'units' table from the db, it would be under

    C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data\db\units_tables

When you open your custom .pack file, right click anywhere, and there should be an 'Add File' option. Just add the file you want to add, from the directory, and the file should be in your custom pack file. It is also better to re-name the file (ie rename 'units' to 'my_units' or something) and delete all unnecessary lines, so if I wanted to create a new unit only keep the lines for the units I want to edit/my units. There is a much more in depth tutorial about this here, and it would probably be a good idea to look at it.
