Castle Total War

hi,

I was wondering if there is someone willing and would be interested in this mod.

This mod could be played in germany,france and italy for example... there would be a lot of cities and a lot of factions. The factions wouldn t be the standart (france, germany, aso...) but would be diferent noble families... holding only one castle/region. Diplomacy would be very important in this game and the would be less specific units but opticaly very diferent looking units.

what do you thinck about that ?

yes I see what your talking about not so much whole empires but indivdual barons and such right?

that would be really great... because I thinck thats the spirit of medieval time

i would love to have a medieval total war like"for king and country" but much more in the medieval part... with great unique modded knights for each barony

I agree with you in concept the real rivalry in the middles age was regional and localized I am personally working on a mod like that but basically only covers the pyrenees mountain range. Already released and hosted is the "Hundred years war" it is the closest thing to King and Country set in medieval times
it is a beautiful peice of work you should check it out..................

is there a beta version of your mod ? do you need help with that ?
It would be great having the mod with french,english, german etc... barrons and adding nonplayable factions replacing the papal states with: the king of france, england etc... telling you to stop attaking your neighbours etc... or asking you to recruit soldiers for a warlike calling a crusade/invasion into germany and your region has to join it
these would be great features.
