Campaign map disappears. Why?

Hi,

Sometimes I experience a strange problem. When I finish a battle and go back to the campaign screen the whole background goes black. I can only see cities, armies, diplomats etc.

I can not see the map: no roads, mountains forests, sea etc.

It helps if I save the game, quit and restart. When I load the saved game, the map looks normal. It's a little bit annoying (esp. due to save/load bug).

What may be causing that? I am playing Darth Mod 5.0 with Vanilla Map

I had the same thing happen right after i purchased the game. I believe I just updated my drivers and it worked after that. A temp. way around it without saving and then loading again is to change the resolution from options menu. That help me anyway until I updated my drivers.
