Default Running BC 2.01 on Kingdoms.exe

Hello their! first of all great job on Broken Crescent 2 .
    To the problem then ...

I suffer from the infamous Shadow problem for newer video cards , this was fixed by CA in patch 1.4 i think for kingdoms.exe .
So the problem is still there in Medieval2.exe , and due to Broken Crescent running on Medieval2.exe i have funky shadows.

So i'm requesting some help in order to get Broken crescent 2.01 to run on the Kingdoms.exe instead .
I've already edited the .bat file to run Kingdoms.exe @bc.cfg but that obviously isn't enough .

    Care to help me?

I had the same request as yours as I have the same problem as yours.
And actually patch 1.05 fixed the problem not 1.04.
I'd suggest that we wait a little longer because there are patches in the way to be implemented and as I see it there are a lot of bugs.

    Yeah , that's probably right .
But i'd like a list of the files that affect this and probably what needs modifying.
I'll gladly do the work though .

    Having some problems with
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    descr_campaign_ai_db.xml
descr_event_images.txt ; Can't find it in Broken Crescent folder ?
    descr_projectile.txt ; Can't find the changes needed
    export_descr_buildings.txt ; Same as above ^
    descr_event_effects.txt ; Can't find in BC folder ?
    export_descr_buildings.txt ; Can't find settings .

Here's what i got so far http://www.filefront.com/14041411/BC...d%20rev0.1.rar [Not Functional]
I've been comparing with your mods files to make changes and managed to correctly change all the files except the ones in the Spoiler .
So , the ones that i can't find . Are they Kingdoms exclusive?
And i'd appreciate any experienced help with the ones i can't find the settings in :/

If they're not in BC files then they can safely be added to the BC folder from vanilla ones. Regarding the projecting and building files ther're just a couple lines that need to be added top existing BC files. I have thought about converting BC 2.0 but if I'm not mistaken someone has said he/she already did that and I'll let that person upload it rather than doing it again myself . In any case I would rather wait until the final version of BC 2.0 to come out after bugs has been corrected only to play BC.

Yes you're most probably right . Let's wait until the final version 2.02 or whatever version it is .
Can you remember who it was that had already converted it?

I've actually already ported BC 2.0 over to Kingdoms. I was hoping to have already released it, but decided to wait a bit so as to include any additional patches/updates. Since GV has stated that the AOR revisions will be released in a week or so, I just decided to wait for that. Since my version will a complete install of BC completely mod-foldered in the Kingdoms mod folder.

For the record, I have not included the PSFs into the build as I think that may change BC gameplay too much. I will likely include it as an optional add-on, though.

It's all but done. The only problem is I've spent the past three nights trying to upload it to no avail. Hopefully, I'll have better luck tonight.
