Merging two Loc files together. Need Help

I play Empire with Toons mod but i also really want to play useing the Lordzs 16 map pack. I have both Loc files and want to join both together but im having problems. I cant copy and paste the lines from one loc file into the other useing the pack File manager.
Id be really grateful for some help as im new to this. Thanks

Export both to tsv. Open as spreadsheets. Copy one and paste it to the bottom of the other. Run "remove duplicates" in your spreadsheet application. Save (without text delimiters if possible). Import to your master loc file.

its this last bit im struggling with. When you have merged the tool files what do you save it as? Another TSV file? How is it imported into my current master loc file? Do I have to rename them to .pack files?

Save it as a tsv (without text delimiters if at all possible). Then click "Import TSV" in Pack File Manager to import the file back into your master loc. Your loc needs to be in a pack file set to type "movie".

Also, applelover is working on a loc compatibility project to try and make the locs from as many mods as possible compatible with each other, and it has Lordz map pack, Toons' mod and more. You can find it here.

Thanks erasmus777 ill give it a go +Rep Im aware of applelovers loc but it has the old Lordz 6 map pack and id like the new 16 map one

I've also found that saving as a text file in Unicode 8 seems to work too, my Excel wouldn't let me save directly into a TSV format.

Still works in the end, just a lil more fart-arsing around.
