Anyone else bothered by the reforms?

All the battled harded troops with many chevrons, now rendered obsolete. =(. Well it takes me many battles to get decent exp troops.

heh. when I started my current campaing, I had forgotten all about the reforms... (hadn't played RTW in quite a while)

yeah, I was totally annoyed when the reforms came along! =\

They're not obsolete just can't be retrained.

Well they can't be retrained, meaning every battle reduces their numbers forever.

i am slightly annoyed, but generally just move on. It's so easy to have your entire empire atleast at city level barracks, it's pretty quick to remake your army, then you can use your old ones to do desperate stands, letting them die, but killing a ton of enemy on the way!

NOw in a mod, that's when it's almost campaign ending frustrating.
