Medieval Total War Not Running help!

Hi

Im running vista and have recently installed the game onto my new PC. It loads fine and I am able to set the campaign and the country I wish to play as etc. When I get to the loading screen to start it stops and pauses the game, without me even seeing the campaign map! If I click resume game it will go back to the loading screen and this continues without anything happening.
Any answers?

Please post some technical details about the system you are using (CPU, memory, graphic card etc).

CPU - Intel Celeron 550 @ 2.00GHz 1995MHz
Memory (Ram) 1.50GB
Virtial Memory 3.23

You can run Dxdiag - look at the 'display' tab on the results menu. You card (if you have one) will be shown there.
