Need hints and tips for getting better at TW games

hello many of you may not know me but im captian rosalez i have played Tw games for a little bit and im having Major trouble Im wondering if any of you could give me some hints or tips to get better Thank you

1. which games you need help with.
2. which areas of the games.

Generically I can advise build your infastructure First. Minimal Military. Second, micro-manage your battles and use the PAUSE-BUTTON while issues in-battle directives...

Yep , many people say pausiong is cheating , but when you have lag or so , it's best to use it

Playing each battle on a mlate night is a

, but you'll end up getting screweed if you automanage

This, you'll NEVER play another TW game again. I picked up modding TW in '04, I don't think I have played a full campaign since.

Never played a full campaign in the first place. Always quit after like 50 turns. Lately I'm lucky to play more than 2.

So having all confessed that modders never actually play the games... do you think we might be losing a bit of credibility in trying to say how much better our mods are than vanilla ?

I'm lucky if i see the main loading screen with credits popping up , and actually want to continue playing

I don't play as much as I used to, but I've played a full campaign on my mod. (Only one though...)

Anyway, as the others have said, build up your economy first, flank your enemies in battle, and learn how to fight sally battles (another tactic some consider "cheating" even on a one player game).
